Julia Kozlowski, 11, Chicago
Old Saint Mary's School (Chicago)
Julia began dancing when she was three years old and started competing when she was five. She is now a sixth grader at Old St. Mary’s school and dancing her third year at Extensions and first with the Junior Company.
Outside of dance Julia enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and listening to music. Over the summer she enjoyed two weeks at the Hubbard Street Intensive, three weeks at Elements Contemporary Ballet Intensive, and, of course, the Extensions Junior Intensive. She also danced at TRIBE. She met many spectacular artists that pushed her to explore new ways to move and break her boundaries and limitations.
Julia feels as if Extensions is her second home, and she is grateful to have made many long-lasting friendships. She especially thanks Lizzie MacKenzie for her creative guidance and instruction and for all of the opportunities she has given her.
